  • Economic Times, ET Bureau / Hyderabad
  • Created: Mon 05th MAY 2014

MERC's observations: The Commission has determined the Solar RPO targets in the State of Maharashtra, and has done so, keeping in view the various Regulations notified by the Commission in this regard and also considering the efforts taken by the concerned Distribution Licensee in procuring solar power in order to meet its RPO targets. As such the Commission has consciously decided the matter considering material placed on record, in Order dated 20 December, 2013 in Case No 159 of 2013. The Commission is of the view that there is no error apparent on the face of record or the Petitioner has not raised any new and important matter or evidence and hence the matter does not qualify for review under Regulation 85(a) of MERC (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2004
