MPERC determines ARR and retail supply tariff for MPPMCL and the east, west and central discoms of Madhya Pradesh

The Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (MPERC) has determined the aggregate revenue requirement (ARR) and retail supply tariff for Madhya Pradesh Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Limited (east discom), Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Limited (west discom), and Madhya Pradesh Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Limited (central discom) for 2015-16.

The commission has increased the tariff by an average 10 per cent. The new rates came into effect on April 25, 2015.
